This
stunning 5-star resort Royal Hideaway Ensenachos Hotel & Spa Resort will be renamed Iberostar Ensenachos and managed by Iberostar Hotels & Resorts as of June 1, 2011, this Gaviota S.A Cuba owned property is located on the exotic unspoiled
Cayo Ensenachos on the North Coast of central Cuba.
Sleeping peacefully off the northern coast
are a string of coral islands that are to nature
what poetry is to language. Cayo Santa Maria and
Cayo Ensenachos are the crown jewels in this string
of precious gems. It is the first and will be the
only construction in this smallest virgin Cayo Ensenachos;
an old aboriginal establishment and refuge of 22 endemic species of the Cuban flora and 39 of Cuba’s
fauna. It enjoys a secluded setting amongst 100 hectares
of lush Caribbean gardens.
Great care has been taken to
ensure that the resort not only complements but also
takes full advantage of these untouched natural surroundings.
The area is home to flamingos, herons, cormorants and
many other birds. Crystal clear waters, perfect for
bathing and watersports, soft white sandy shores and
offshore reefs teaming with marine life make impressive
dive sites among these cayos.
This horseshoe shaped key is set in an area of natural
beauty, boasts two of the most beautiful beaches ‘El
Megano’ and ‘Ensenachos’ in the
whole of Cuba, secluded, and stretching more
than 2.6 kilometers in length. These flawless soft
powder sand beaches and as white as the flour are
a real Paradise. The water, which is clear, warm and
calm for swimming, is a great painter's palette of
every shade and hue of blue; these are the beaches
from which all others are painted.

After our first visit to Cayo Ensenachos, we decided to build the website, as there was nothing much about this paradise on other websites, we took a lot of photos, gathered all the relevant information, also with the help of our Cuban friends we have created this website...
