Legal Requirements for Marriage in the State of Cuba:

If the contracting parties are single:

  • Passport (Mandatory to be able to be married in Cuba)
  • Tourist Card
  • Ceremonies to take place from Monday to Friday
  • Parents Full Names
  • 2 Witnesses (cannot be relatives, can be provided by the hotel)

If one of the parties is divorced:

  •  Divorce Certificate in the official Language of the country
     where it has been issued.
  • Official Translation into Spanish of the Divorce Certificate.
  • The above documents should be legalized in the country of origin.

If one of the parties is widow/widower:

  •  Certified copy of the previous  marriage.
  •  Certified copy of  decease.
  •  Both  documents released in the oficial language of the country 
      which make it and the official translation to spanish.

Wedding & Renewal of Vows Options

At the Royal Hideaway we are specialized in arranging the most professional services for the most important day of your life. This is why we have a wide selection of additions to your Wedding Packages to make your Special Day, the one day you have always dreamt about.

These services are charged on request.

Open Bar:
Bar set up,
Canapés and service has a surcharge per person per hour.
Please note that for an Open Bar and a Canapés service a minimum of 25 persons is needed.

Wedding Cake:
Our Pastry Chef would be happy to prepare a customized wedding cake.
Fresh flowers are always a lovely option to add on (additional charge applies).
For any further information, cake photos and prices please consult the Wedding Coordinator.

Dining:
Four Dining Restaurants are available (Italian, International, Seafood, Oriental),
depending on availability and the number of guests in your party.
For groups of ten or more, surcharges apply and a special set menu will be served.

Dress Code for evening dining:
Men are required to have long pants, a collared shirt and closed shoes.
No sandals, tennis shoes, running shoes, sport shoes, shorts or jeans are permitted.
Jackets and ties are not required.
Women are permitted to wear evening dress sandals.

NOTE:
The Occidental Royal Hideaway Ensenachos Resort & Spa is an adult resort.
Children under the age of 13 years are not permitted, children can attend the wedding if they stay at a nearby hotels with family. Attending guests of the Wedding Ceremony that will not be staying at the Royal Hideaway Ensenachos must purchase a Day Pass or Evening Pass and are subject to any additional charges for dinner events.

Wedding Testimonial

We got married at RHE on April 20, 2009. It was idyllic, just perfect, plain and simple. We had the best, most enjoyable wedding and honeymoon imaginable. I could not recommend it enough to all my friends and family! First of all, we want to thank you so much for your wonderful website. We loved browsing through it in the months leading up to our big day, and our guests found it tremendously informative.

From the moment we met Pedro, our wedding coordinator, we knew that we were in good hands. The appointment was set up for the morning after we arrived. Pedro was professional and very friendly, he made us feel comfortable and stress-free (yes, I can say that I was a stress-free bride!). He was on hand to answer any question that we might have during our entire stay, right up until our last day.

We chose the gazebo for our location - and it was stunning. It was a very hot and sunny day, no clouds in sight, and there was a beautiful breeze. The ceremony was short and sweet, and there was delicious wedding cake and champagne for our guests, and dancing to a wonderful musical trio.

After many photos (which turned out fantastic) we went to the Italian restaurant for our wedding dinner. They treated us like royalty there - we enjoyed every moment of it.

In short, we cannot say enough good things about our experience getting married at RHE. We will definitely be back.
